Almost as if it never was, the massive protection
of America fades to nothing and all that remains is the border
itself. In the distance you can see the Primary barrier fade into
a hillside. This photo was taken one mile north of the border
looking south.
The haze is a natural part of Tijuana's air and
is composed of industrial waste, smog, and even human fecal dust.
This
official border monument allows you to sight westward and trace
the border between Mexico (on the left) and the U.S.A. (on the
right).
Mexico is the built up industrial on the left and
the USA borderland has turned to vacant scrub.
