West California, Part 5
Not all the threats are from MS-13 gang members
or the drug cartels. Even the Russians stick their noses over
the border.
Just before reaching the massive Port of Entry
and its daily stream of 40,000 cars traversing 23 inspection lanes,
we have the former KGB spy tower looking at the United States
Fleet not ten miles away. The KGB is gone but the FSB is alive
and busily peeking.
As the border barrier continues eastward the
City of Tijuana is cut in two by the Tijuana River Flood Channel.
The Primary barrier can be seen as the rust colored line, the
continuing yellow line along the bottom of the concrete channel
and then starting again on the far east side.
