The New River continues to be a very serious concern to the USBP and each illegal alien is encouraged to stay clear of it. Here an illegal alien is being processed and note the framed poster above his left shoulder.

Here is an enlargement of that poster. The poster warns of the dangers in trying to cross the All American Canal — which is the IID canal — and the extreme dangers of the New River:
